Flowing with Qi — a moving prayer

Not quite a dance,
but a meditation —
a flow of Qi,
an expression of Light through the body.

A way of tuning in and listening —
to the breath, to the body,
to the current of Life moving within.

Each slow, conscious movement is guided by Qi
the vital energy,
the same Life Force that flows through all beings.

Intuitively,
my body moved in the spiral rhythms of Qi,
and my hands rested mostly in Gyan Mudra, the gesture of wisdom
symbolising the union of self with the Divine;
a silent prayer,
where movement becomes communion.

Dancing is often about expression or release,
but here we soften… and receive.
We let the energy move through us —
dissolving tension, activating flow,
and opening space for Light to embody.

Practices like this remind us
that healing doesn’t always come from effort.
Sometimes it comes from surrender
from allowing the body to remember
how to flow with Life again.

An invitation for you to move slowly,
to breathe deeply,
to let the music touch your heart and guide your body.

And to simply feel
what it’s like to be moved by Life itself.

With gratitude to Jazā & Majána
for the beautiful song Medicine Carrier.

Flowed at Casa Gaia Mountain Retreat — Đà Lạt,
a healing space where I hold personal retreats.
